Telšiai is a gem of tourizm. Tourist are attracted to Telšiai not only by the renewed architecture of the city, but also for by the great interest in the Samogitian language, exceptional food, culture and history.

The colors of the Lithuanian flag are yellow (at the top), for the sun, green (in the middle), for the fields, and red (at the bottom), for the blood of Lithuanians fighting for its independence.

 

I'm studying at Žemaitė gymnasium. I will state you some information about Lithuania country.

 

· Lithuania is a tiny country located in eastern Europe, near the Baltic coast. 

· We are part of NATO and The European Union.

· Lithuanian's population is around 2,8 thousand people.

· Around 82% of people in the country speak Lithuanian. Besides Lithuanian, people speak Russian (8%), Polish (5,6%), and other languages (4,4%). 

· The capital of the country is Vilnius.

.  Vilnius is the countries center of politics, economics, science, and culture. 

· Lithuanian's form of government:

°  Lithuania is a democratic country with President and parliament. 

°  Our president is Gėtanas Nausėda. 

 

Lithuania is a hard-working people land. In the past, our basic earnings were from agriculture. Now, it's mostly from farming and services. Even so, our small country is advanced in IT and technologies. 

 

The Lithuanian flag consists of three colors: yellow, green, and red. Each color has its meaning: the yellow color symbolizes Lithuanians lovely sun, the green - holds the expression of fertile fields and forests, and the red has the symbolism of blood, shed for independence.

Murcia is a city in my country, Spain, there are some places to go and some traditional dishes to try. 

One of the most popular dishes in my town are the “paparajotes”

One of the most popular places is the “Terra Natura” situated in the “Espinardo”

In Alcantarilla there is a lot of culture and many very typical places, not only are there places but there is also typical food from here such as: Zarangollo, Paella, Marinera and paparajotes among many others. There are spectacular places such as: plaza de flores, terra natura and la Rueda,among others. Incredible events and many more things. The truth is I love being from Alcantarilla.

The Region of Murcia is a Spanish uniprovincial autonomous community , located in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula , which borders Andalusia ( Granada and Almería ), the Valencian Community ( Alicante ), the Mediterranean coast and Castilla-La Mancha ( Albacete ).

The total population of the Region of Murcia is 1,511,251 inhabitants.

The region is one of the largest producers of fruits, vegetables and flowers in Europe , with important vineyards in the municipalities of Jumilla , Bullas and Yecla , which produce wines with Designation of Origin.

The Salzillo Museum is a museum space that is located in the city of Murcia ( Murcia Region , Spain ), and that is dedicated monographically to the works made by the Murcian Baroque sculptor Francisco Salzillo.

The idea of ​​creating this museum began to take shape as early as the 19th century, but it was not until 1941 that its creation was approved by the Ministry of National Education. In 1962 , it was declared a Historic Artistic Monument . Since then it has been one of the most visited museums in the Region of Murcia and, without a doubt, one of the most outstanding.

In 2020 and 2021, tons of dead fish appeared on the shores of the Mar Menor, due to episodes of anoxia associated with the deterioration of the ecological state of the lagoon, which is seriously threatened by a process of eutrophication.

The typical foods are zarangollo,ensalada murciana, michirones, pastel de carne, marineras and paparajotes.

In Alcantarilla the festivities are in May, the famous Las Brujas Festival. In them the ladies of each rock compete to be the queen. At parties there are many parades and floats with toys. At the end of the festivities the famous witch burn takes place.

Here it is typical in bars to eat “marineras” before eating as a snack. Other food very famous from murcia is the omelet with potatoes and also the paella, that is rice with chicken red pepper green pepper tomato and sometimes with fish. Our football and basketball players are very very nice. 

In Christmas the city hall put a very big lighty Christmas tree in the city centre. Everybody eats roasted chestnuts and drinks hot chocolate. Instead of here it's sunny every time. 

Lots of people know when someone lives in Murcia because we talk without the letter s and many times we shorten words like “everything”. We also use “acho”, this word is only used in Murcia and Extremadura (other cities in Spain). 

We have lots of parties like “El entierro de la Sardina” “ El bando de la huerta” etc.

It is very visited. It has a museum in it, in which we can see a lot of paintings and some sculpture.

In Murcia there are a lot of festivities like, Nuestra señora de la Fuensanta , it celebrates the 8th of september, other festivity is San Fulgencio, 16th of january.

In Murcia there is a lot of typical food, like paparajotes or “pastel de carne”, we eat this typical food when there is festivity or something like that.

There are a lot of typical dances, the most popular is “la jota” . This dance is in pairs, with big dresses, this dlothing is the clothes we use for “el bando de la huerta”, is a very festive activity in Murcia.

In conclusion Murcia has a lot of typical festivities and a lot of typical food, and I think it is a good site to go on holiday.

The cathedral of Murcia is in Cardenal belluga square. It is very big. It has 556 years, and it was bought between 1394 and 1465. His style is gothic, renaissance and baroque. It is 93 meters high. It was declared a national monument in 1931. There are other popular monuments in Murcia.

The main dishes are sailor, paparajotes, murciana salad, cauldron of the minor sea…

The minor sea, the laoon more important of Murcia. Is in southeast of Spain. And it is a little part of Murcia.

Murcia is a very beautiful city. Then, we can see a lot of monuments or constructions such as the Cathedral, the casino, the Roman theater of Cartagena, el fuerte del sol de Lorca,...

The cathedral of murcia is one of the most important monuments in the region, it was built 600 years ago and has a wonderful museum inside it.

Murcia has got a lot of history and monuments, like the Minor Sea. The Minor Sea is a very big lagoon near the Mediterranean Sea, it is a monument because it forms a piece of land which divides the lagoon and the Sea, we call this piece of land “La Manga”. Other monuments here are the cathedral situated in the centre of the city or the Roman theatre in Cartagena (a city in Murcia). 

But Murcia not only has important monuments, it also has many fun festivities with a lot of history. In the centre of the city there are important festivities like “The side of the orchard”, “The burial of the sardine” and “Moors and Christians”. In other cities, there are other festivities like “Carthaginians and Romans” (in Cartagena) or “The May festivities” (in Alcantarilla). 

Finally, I will add that the food here is also very good, specially the vegetables and fruits of “La huerta de Murcia”. Here, there are typical dishes as well. Some examples are the zarangollo, the murcian salad or the meatloaf.

It is located in the southeast of Spain. I live in a town called Alcantarilla but I’m going to talk about Murcia.

Murcia has a cathedral, it’s very famous. 

The typical food in Murcia is the Murcian salad, the meatloaf, the empanada and the paparajote is the most typical dessert of Murcia 

The typical festivals are the side of the garden, Easter, the burial of the sardine..

In Murcia you can visit the Murcia Cathedral, La manga or Mazarron beach. Or towns like Alcantarilla or Lorca. 

It is a very good place to visit on holidays. It’s very cool.

Lithuania’s capital is Vilnius. Vilnius is really beautiful city with cool people. 

The climate here is not that hot. We have  quite a few lakes and a lot of  amazing forests.

My country has been through a lot in history and has one of the oldest and most difficult languages in all the world.

I was born and raised in Lithuania. Lithuania covers an area of 65,300 km2 (25,200 sq mi), with a population of 2.8 million. There are a lot of forests here, they cover 1/3 of the country's area. The Lithuanian language is the official state language of Lithuania and it is recognized as one of the hardest languages to learn in the world. 

There are so many beautiful places in my country. Lithuania is proud of UNESCO heritage. Our tiny country can boast of a long list of UNESCO cultural and natural heritage sites.

The Albanians established the autonomous Principality of Arbër in the 12th century. The Kingdom of Albania and Principality of Albania formed between the 13th and 14th centuries. Prior to the Ottoman conquest of Albania in the 15th century, the Albanian resistance to Ottoman expansion into Europe led by Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg won them acclaim over most of Europe. Albania remained under Ottoman rule for nearly five centuries, during which many Albanians (known as Arnauts) attained high-ranking offices in the empire, especially in the Southern Balkans and Egypt. Between the 18th and 19th centuries, cultural developments, widely attributed to Albanians having gathered both spiritual and intellectual strength, conclusively led to the Albanian Renaissance. After the defeat of the Ottomans in the Balkan Wars, the modern nation state of Albania declared independence in 1912.


Albania shares many symbols associated with its history, culture and belief. These include the colours red and black, animals such as the golden eagle living across the country, costumes such as the fustanella, plis and opinga which are worn to special events and celebrations, plants such as the olive and red poppy growing as well across the country.

The flag of Albania is a red flag with a black double-headed eagle positioned in the centre. The red colour used in the flag symbolises the bravery, strength and valour of the Albanian people, while the black colour appears as a symbol of freedom and heroism.
