The scientific method is seven steps that guide scientific research. It also gives an order to how things need to be solved in the most efficient and productive way. By having the scientific method scientists knew and know how to conduct an experiment and make sure they are getting the most out of it as possible. This effected the scientists of the time because there was now a foundation to work on.

The geocentric theory is the theory that placed the Earth in the center of the solar system. It was favored at the time it was made because it gave the church leverage on the beliefs in the bible. They wanted man at the center and refused to give any other theory consideration.

Heliocentric Theory

The heliocentric theory is the theory that the sun is in the center and that the planets revolve around it. Which is the truth but at the time when Galileo created this model it wasn't favored because it went against the religious beliefs of the church and the public and it proved them incorrect. Which is why they didn't like it. This is important to the time period because without it there wouldn't be a correct model of the solar system until many years later and there could have been a possibility that no one may have tried to debunk the church and just go along with it for years and years. This theory presented us the truth.

The universal law of gravity is what allowed scientists and other to have a reason behind why. Without learning the universal law or without it being created then there would´t be a good explanation to why and how we are being held down to the earth. This also gave a foundation which is why it was important to the time.

This was something that changed a lot for the scientific world and it was because he said "I think therefore I am". This changed the perspective of people and it was important to the time due to having an opportunity for people to try their own things to have their own experiences and to explore science through a wider eye.
