Which is the truth but at the time when Galileo created this model it wasn't favored because it went against the religious beliefs of the church and the public and it proved them incorrect. Which is why they didn't like it. This is important to the time period because without it there wouldn't be a correct model of the solar system until many years later and there could have been a possibility that no one may have tried to debunk the church and just go along with it for years and years.
