https://padlet.com/HomerZulaica/About Homer Zulaica is an experienced practitioner of sports medicine who has worked with numerous professional sports teams across the United States and beyond. Upon earning his degree in sports medicine from St. Ambrose University, he joined the Los Angeles Dodgers as an athletic trainer for two of the organization’s minor league affiliates. During the offseason, Homer Zulaica worked alongside professional winter-baseball teams as their sports medicine director and head athletic trainer in Venezuela. In 2001, Homer Zulaica embarked on a career in major league sports with a position as the head athletic trainer for the Dallas Burn soccer team. After working with the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe, he returned his gaze to baseball training by joining the Baltimore Orioles. During the 2003 season, Zulaica served as a trainer to the Ottawa Lynx, a Triple-A International League affiliate of the Orioles. Outside of his professional pursuits, Zulaica is a dedicated member of his community and an active participant in local youth sports leagues.
