Miss Evanna told us all about where she lived and a lot about her childhood. When she was a kid she told us what one of her favourite fruits were and they were these little fruits called quandong. When you are sick and when you eat only two you will have a lot of energy.

Before I read this book I thought that there would of been no issues in the book and that there was just two happy BFF'S and I was actually really mad because I have a friend that is aboriginal and that could of been me and my BFF. In 1967 they didn't let any of the aboriginal people in fun place's they weren't allowed in school, in the train, in the cinema or in the pool. The white people did not like the aboriginal people and I don't think that is fair at all. Before they got in the pool all the aboriginal people had to have a shower
