My parents told me they were going to sign me up to a soccer team if I did good for that quarter. Well guess what, I did good that quarter. I was proud of myself and so were my parents.

My friends were better than me and I felt like I was making the team worse. We kept practicing and practicing until I started getting a little better. We played our first game and lost. Everyone felt bad. Our next game we won 2-1. In between those games we practiced more than we usually would.

There we went against some older kids and lost bad. Then we played against some kids our age and we barely won. At the end everyone who participated got a medal. Even though some teams didn't win they still got something because they tried and worked hard.
