We arrived in Chefchaouen after a 10 hour bus trip from Agadir. We arrived in the city at around 8 in the morning. Chefchaouen is known for it's blue houses that make the city look like it came from a fairytale. The first thing we did was, searching for a restaurant to have some breakfast.

An hour west of Chefchaouen there's a very beautiful mountain that's very well known with hikers. We decided to walk the mountain because the guide told us it would be easy and that it would only take us an hour. He was was wrong, very wrong. It took us almost five hours to get to the top. It also didn't help that is was around 40°C that day. The temperature was probably also the reason that three people fainted. But in the end it was worth it, the view was absolutely wonderful.

After the hike on the mountain, we traveled further north. We were in the one of most northern parts of morocco, right next to the border with Cueta which is a Spanish enclave in Morocco. We could see an Island that Morocco and Spain have been fighting over for the past 20 years.

On our way back to Agadir after a short stay in the north, we made a short stop in Rabat. Rabat is Morocco's capital and it's a city i've always wanted to visit. Because it only was a short stop, we could only visit the mausoleum of Mohammed V, it's where the previous kings are buried. The mausoleum is built on the ruins of an old Mosque, you can still see the pillars, and a part of the wall. you can also see the Hassan tower, the build began in 1195 and was never finished
