         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em>Saving lives: earthquake preparedness in Mongolia.</em></strong><br><br>Red Cross Australia works with the Mongolian Red cross to implement education about disaster preparedness.&nbsp;<br><br>This could save lives in Mongolia's capital city. This is important as the children learn to protect themselves in these situations.<br><br>They're taught to hide under tables when they hear the bell, to put a bag of books on their head and leave the room promptly, there are also manuals on the walls.&nbsp;<br><br>First AID teams have also been trained by Red Cross in the possibility of emergency. There a regular training sessions for them.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There are various ways of donating throughout red cross Australia, some of these include; 'single donations' which are suited more for fundraisers and 'one off donations' which is where money is collected through social action promotions/actives (eg. protesting)<br><br>They can also receive money through regular donations of $1 a day to help others around the world&nbsp;<br><br>all donations are tax deductible for the donators&nbsp;<br><br>you can also choose where the donations are sent too by directly choosing a certain appeal to areas in need for example there are currently 5 crisis going on at them moment with the "Syria crisis appeal" "Myanmar crisis appeal" "disaster relief and recovery" [for Australia] "refugees and asylum seekers in crisis" and the "east Africa food crisis"&nbsp;<br><br>donations are available and accessible though the red cross Australia website their hotline 1800 red cross or by sending a cheque or money order too Australian red cross, even other alternatives are possibly leaving donations in you're will and getting involved with the fundraising&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
