         <description><![CDATA[<div>A:  The test is on line and adaptive.  This means that as the students completes the question correctly, the questions move up in level.  The inverse is true for wrong answers.  The computer continually levels the student.  50% correct is the goal.  Your students need to understand this and have a growth mindset because they will be challenged with items they do not know.</div>]]></description>

It's knowing your students though.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A:   Scores may fluctuate.&nbsp; This line graph is not a steady incline at times.&nbsp; A student may score a 200 in the Fall and drop to a 180 in the Winter.&nbsp; Are you looking at student engagement?&nbsp; Have you taken into account student readiness - maybe they had little sleep the night before.&nbsp; Maybe the student can only give you 15 minutes of their very best attention.&nbsp; Do you push through or do you suspend the test and come back to it?&nbsp; You are the teacher in control of testing. &nbsp;<br><br>What are the deciding 'retest' factors? &nbsp;<br><br>You want the student to do their very best rather than a one shot and done approach.&nbsp; You also want an accurate score since you will use the information to drive your instruction and lesson planning.</div>]]></description>
