         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Jornal highlighted what students appreciated about school counselors and the resources that students benefitted from which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. The amount and individualized use of resources for students revealed the true desire of the School Counselors for students to succeed. I am amazed that most students have school counselors as a resource and benefit tremendously from the support.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Effectiveness of School Counseling Programs </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>School counseling programs provide support in a multitude of areas such as academically, emotionally, and mentally. School counselors instill motivation and hope within students in order for them to see a future they may have never seen someone accomplish before.<br><br>Through data collection, school counselors utilize informed practices when leading and promoting students' growth and development given their individualized circumstances.<br><br>Students benefitted greatly from structures support from school counselors, given an open door policy for any discussions students wanted to have with School counselors,&nbsp;advice and guidance for next steps after high school, and even group gatherings that prepared students for college curriculum given their first-generation college student status.</div>]]></description>
