She shared her many travel pictures to coincide what she is teaching which makes the content have such a connection!  I showed her how Google Earth can enhance the engagement and actually showed how you can find a KML or KMZ from Google to show in her Google Earth platform.
Along with various Geography tricks...I also shared thetruesize.com whici is a great visual for students to understand the size of countries, states, etc. We actually took Bosnia and put it inside of the state of Missouri !

We talked at length about PBL, state standards and the challenges he is looking forward to this year.

Her room is thoughtfully creative with her students in mind..Lighting, and other amenities show she is caring  about the environment of how her students learn. After some conversation, we  decided to change it up to see if it would make a difference in student work..
We also talked at great length about researching techniques and I offered custom search engine through Google for a resource.
