The Week numbers are the progress targets for achieving proficiency for the topics specified. You can progress at your own pace. You are allow to complete the module before the 17-week schedule!

However, if you are more than a week behind schedule, it will become compulsory for you to attend lessons following your time table.

To show that you have competency in the topics, you have to take a quiz related to those topics at allocated time and location.

Quizzes last for 35 minutes per session.

To help you to answer the quizzes, you have to practice and complete assignments in laid out in the notes. You have to submit all required assignments.

You can progress to sit for the next quiz after you have achieved a satisfactory grade (not necessarily full marks) for a quiz. You can repeat a quiz once if you do not achieve a satisfactory grade.

You need to target to complete Quiz 1, Quiz 2 and Quiz 3 by Week 4, Week 12 and Week 14 respectively. The marks achieved for these Quizzes contribute to 30% of the module assessment.

Test 1 has to be taken at Week 7/8. This test last is a 45-minute session. (The Monday sessions will be held in Week 8 instead.)

Tess 2 has to be completed by Week 16/17 is also a 45-minute session. (The Tuesday session will be held in Week 16 instead.)

Quizzes and tests are open-book assessments in an assigned venue. Internet connections and all forms of communications to others are not permitted. 

There will be no invigilator in the laboratory during quizzes and all activities and conversations during the sessions will be recorded and be used for any disciplinary enquiries if needed.
