Editing is going over your reading and making such that your grammar and punctuation etc. is correct .While revising is fixing and changing your work to improve it. Editing and revising are not the same thing.

Editing is fixing any words you misspelled, or adding on to a response. Revising is making sure everything is written the way it is supposed to.
Suppose that you wrote something wrong, and fixing it. That would be editing.
And suppose that you forgot a word somewhere, you would revise it.
