But when they got her hooked on drugs, she thought that they were even closer friends to her. This is one of the conflicts because in the book Anonymous is always fighting with herself and trying to improve herself. For example, in the book, Alice wants to try and improve her physical appearance. She loses weight and starts to hang out with people who don't have a positive effect on her. 

Another conflict is Alice vs. Drugs/ Addiction. This is another conflict in the book because Alice starts to hang out with people who want her to try drugs. She goes to parties, and she starts using drugs when she knows she shouldn't be using. In the book, Alicegoes to a party and she gets a drink linked with LSD. I think that this is the theme of the book because in the book, Alice didn't think about what would happen if she tried drugs for a second time. She knew that they made her feel good and made her forget about all the stresses in life, and she liked the effects they had on her.
