1- Pair Up: Divide the class into pairs. Each pair will take turns interviewing each other about their hobbies.

2- Interview Questions:

Provide a list of interview questions as a guide. Encourage students to add their own questions if they feel comfortable.

Sample Questions:

What is your favorite hobby?

How did you get started with this hobby?

How often do you engage in your hobby?

What do you enjoy most about it?

Have you ever participated in a hobby-related event or competition?

Do you have any goals related to your hobby?

Conduct the Interviews:

Each student will interview their partner for 5-10 minutes. Remind them to take notes and listen carefully.

3- Switch Roles:

After the first round, switch roles so both students have a chance to be the interviewer and the interviewee.

4- Share with the Class:

After both rounds are complete, come back together as a class. Each student will briefly introduce their partner and share one interesting fact they learned about their partner’s hobby.

As a class, discuss the variety of hobbies people have and why hobbies are important for personal growth and relaxation. Possible discussion points:

What are some common themes among different hobbies?

Reflection:

Have students write a short reflection on what they learned about their partner’s hobby and how it might influence their own interest in trying new activities.
