Hi Everyone - in Health we approach the Blended learning design from a topic vs subject perspective. Depending on the LO each subject can range in number of topics across the 10 week semester - some 5, 7, or 10. The Moodle subject site is therefore designed to provide students with 24/7 access to all the core content, activities, assessments etc related to the topic. During the weekly workshops the moodle site is used as the 'framework' for the workshop discussions, group activities etc. If during the workshop the faculty note that students are experiencing difficulty with a particular concept/idea or understanding the formal assignment requirement then a Camtasia video is created and titled as a Quick Tuorial - which the students can review as many times as needed.
