They typically give me a reasonable amount of freedom, which is something I also value. I value my vehicle, something my parents provided me with, because it gets me to the places I need and want to go. I value my dog because when I move off to start my life after high school, I won't be completely alone and am gaining a stronger sense of responsibility taking care of him. I value my phone because it gives me a link to other people, it makes life easier for me, and helps me be more connected to the world. I also really value good movies. Most of the things I value are materialistic.
