         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.&nbsp;“What causes a chemical reaction?”<br>In some cases, chemical reactions take place because the bonds in molecules are broken. Molecules are in constant motion and bump off of each other, if enough energy is used, the molecule’s bond may break apart. Once the bond is broken, a chemical reaction can happen to create a new bond and form a new substance. The properties of the new substance are always different than the original properties of the substance and energy is released affter the chemical reaction.</div>]]></description>
