In Tanzania we face the problem of many students in the classroom compared to the number of teachers available. The national ratio suggests 35:1(35 students to 1 teacher) but there are teachers that have even more than 50 students in their classes.

Also lack of technology and adequate internet connection. The availability of computers and other technological facilities to facilitate learning is limited or no at all to most of the schools in the country. In some schools where the technology is available they are constantly impacted by power shortage and lack of internet connectivity.

There are differences between regions when it comes to access to education. In some rural parts or in regions affected by the recent earthquakes students cannot have access to education or even if they do, the quality of education is low.

Traditional approaches to education is another problem. Our schools have difficulty in adapting themselves to the needs of the modern world.

Like many other countries in the world, Turkey also faces problems in education. The world, the students' needs, technology, jobs are under continuos change. Our ministry of education tries hard to catch up all these changes but I think the biggest problem is the "change management" problem. They set up many changes but without preparing the change agents (teachers, studets, principals, families, assessment system). This results with a lot of smartboards in schools with not knowing how to use it. New teaching methods without knowing how to use it. etc.

Some of the challenges faced in my countries educational system-

Is the lack of technology like computers in the public schools, but we have our students learn about it in the public schools but they do not have access to them in the class room but they are shown pictures of it.

Lack of adequate science laboratory equipment for our science laboratories.

Large class sizes in the public schools leading to reduction in students' involvement in the class and overworking of the teachers, leading to a burn out of the teachers who is already underplayed for the services rendered.

In Latvia there is a lack of new teachers at school due to low salary. Mostly teachers aged 40 - 65 work at school. Latvia is a small country (population is 2 mlj.) and the birth rate decreases each year which means many teachers could lose their job in next 5- 10 years.The financial support given to school by the goverment is being cut every year.

Problem of access to Education varies from region to region in my country. Basically in my region, the barriers ranges from barriers in language of instruction/mother tongue or students first language, inadequate infrastructure in place for Teacher's utilization, socioeconomic factors, problem of power supply, problem of fast internet connectivity and teachers, who are unmotivated to give in their best.
