Carrie Chapman Catt: She aided in the founding of NAWSA, campaigning a "winning plan" that aimed to advocate for suffrage at both a federal and local level and acting as the president of the League of Women Voters which aimed to provide nonpartisan education to female voters.

Margaret Sanger: After working as a visiting nurse and seeing the effects of too many pregnancies on a woman's finances and body, she advocated for access to birth control with the argument that family planning was crucial in ending the cycle of women's poverty. She launches feminist publication, The Woman Rebel, and continued to advocate for birth control despite being arrested several times until her death.
