By teaching children phonics, they will begin to build words which helps them with their spelling (Wikipedia, 2015). As part of an experimental research project, these children were instead taught to hear and identify sounds. Educators are able to access an online training course. Trainees are required to participate in audio, written text and digital footage testing and once completed, are given a digital certificate (Jolly Learning, 2015).
In school training:
Experienced trainers visit schools and provide teachers with either an individual or whole-school training experience. Whole-school training is the preferred option as it ensures consistency across the school. This training is also available for parents, so they are able to assist their children at home (Jolly Learning, 2015).
