• Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, CITES - 1973.

• Convention on Biological Diversity, CBD - 1992: main objectives: Conservation of biological diversity; Sustainable use of its components; Fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising from the utilization of genetic resources.

• Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 and the Aichi Targets (20 specific targets / 5 Strategic Goals): 2050 vision for biodiversity. Mid-term assessment (UNEP, 2014).

• The Natura 2000 Network birds and habitat.

• Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 (UE, 2023)

• Sustainable Land Management (United Nations, 2024)

Some boundaries and instruments for Biodiversity Conservation areas as follows:

• Endangered Species Act in the United States.

• Establishment of protected areas for conservation purposes

As Charlene said today, the ozone hole is more noticeable in Antarctica due to the temperatures that have reached it, allowing stratospheric clouds to form. The countries most affected are Chile and Argentina.
