This causes the blood stream to get clogged . 
Due to sickle cells her heart rate was pretty high because of the lack of oxygen. She had a short of breath and her respiratory rate was a little high due to the lack of oxygen throughout the body. Since she didn’t have much oxygen it could’ve also been the reason for her pale skin, nails , and lips.
