I'm feeling somewhat optimistic about this course and seeing how well I can thrive without having many obstacles in my way. I've made videos and done similar things like this at high school so this hopefully should be nothing new and concerning for me which is a good thing so I can have a good idea and get straight to recording. The first idea that came to my head first is the solve all your problems stick MK II which is a previous take at one of my old high school videos where it's about this stick that can do anything

Background decision

I decide to go with a green and yellow gradient background because they are both vibrant eye catching colours when used together. I used green because in Australia the most expensive dollar note is the green $100 bill and also green is the colour of money notes. I used yellow as the secondary because yellow is usually related to happiness.

I changed the colours to grey,black and white to fit with the whole theme with my video and backgrounds. by doing this it makes the colours blend much easier then by having green and yellow. The main reason why this was changed was because that my video does get rather somewhat depressing so i decided to let that all match within the theme.

With this being documented it is rather scary knowing that the younger generation are having potential gambling addictions with their favorite game with microtransactions in them. With having more video games being released every day the possibility of a video game having microtransactions are more than likely than 10 years ago. By knowing this younger audiences could spend hundreds of dollars on video games without any consequences.

"How colours help marketers to communicate the brand to customers and how to match colours with customer’s personality are extensively discussed."

With this in mind if companies made their fonts or colours look big, bold and colourful deliberately for the younger audience it would possibly make them spend money on the items that they are looking at. Because younger children are more appealed to vibrant and colourful things than compared to an adult which would see it as a massive pop up and would possibly ignore it.

Tone

The type of tone I want to use in my video will be a mixture of comedic humor and serious verbal messages. The type of audience that I want to be looking for is younger children to early adults so roughly 8 to 18-year-olds.

Colour palette

I want to start off by using colour shades like grey, black and white. to establish a serious and intimidating mood. But then over time use colours to change the mood and theme of the video. So, that it can become a comedic and humorous video to have a bit of a positive vibe into it.

The video which I want to create is a serious yet a comedic video by having an interrogation with myself spending my money on video game micro transactions. I'm basically telling myself off by using cut and split personality shots in a skit like format. I'll be capturing my audiences attention by having a mysterious intro and to make them stay with my comedic cringe content that I'll provide to them.
