In addition, to keep the activities engaging, I used a combination of interactive listening tasks like "think, pair, share" and group discussions to activate background knowledge. In terms of time management, I set clear goals for each stage of the activity, ensuring that there was enough time for reflection and review after the listening task. Finally, I encouraged students to focus on strategies like summarizing key ideas and listening for specific details, which helped them build confidence and proficiency in their listening skills.

One of the primary challenges encountered was ensuring that the materials selected were appropriate for the learners' proficiency level. Second, finding content that was engaging yet not too difficult for beginners required a delicate balance. Additionally, considering the diverse backgrounds and levels of knowledge among learners meant that it was crucial to cater to different comprehension processes. Also, another problem was the difficulty in making the listening tasks dynamic and interactive while also ensuring that they effectively addressed all the listening stages—pre, while, and post-listening. Managing the time for the activity and ensuring that students had enough opportunities to process and reflect on the material also posed a challenge.
