Te-linde was trying to prove that the invasive cervical cancer and situ should be treated in the same way. Situ cancer is a cancer call that just lay on top of the skin but don't spread and invasive cancer is cancer that spreads all around the body. Te-linde said that the situ would eventually turn into invasive cervical cancer. Dr. Grey received Henrietta's cell from Te-linde, who was the one that removed the piece of tumor from Henrietta. The reason Te-lined sent Dr. Grey the cells was because he wanted Dr. Grey to cure cancer.

He believed that the superior race was white people and wanted anyone that was poor, uneducated or not white to die or get their forcefully sterilized. The reason why people didn't trust the HeLa cells was because one of Dr. Carel's work was a chicken heart that lived "forever".
