             IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH" (18) 
is repeated thought the book and in writings and propaganda. There are the mantras repeated by teachers every hour and the poem written that goes up in all the classrooms. In 1984 there are Military people all over the place and video cameras/ monitors to ensure proper actions. There are strict laws and rules in both situations creating equally hostile and tense living conditions in 1984 and North Korea.
