I worked on the base of the coffee machine, curved the edges to give the cylindrical effect.

I forgot to model the rubber stopper for the handle. Hence, I used 2 cylinder -- volume mesh + builder to combine it together.

I used the loft and created the espresso shot and cup. Played around with it to create the water drop effect. I also added colour to give it life!

Asked Mr Steve for support on the protruding of 'SMEG' as had lots of issues trying to get it to extrude and look smooth.

did all the texturing for this session. I tried to mimic the colour and texture of an espresso but may need some support for it. I also worked on the metal back and tray for the coffee machine.

I replaced the glass-looking water tank to something duller and plastic-looking -- as seen in the examples.

SMEG COFFEE MACHINE

Smeg's products have lots of curvatures, a good practice to my 3d modelling skills. I love brewing coffee and creating latte art with the handy machine. Although I don't possess a coffee machine of my own, I decided to model it to show my love for basic coffee making.

There were quite a few to begin with...

I remodelled the top of the coffee machine a few times as I couldn't get the curve surface shown in the references.
I got support for the water tank at the back as it was a little complicated to create the hole in the centre.
Texturing the espresso in the glass shot was tricky as it sometimes looked like tea.
There may still have a few errors from the actual products due to my inefficiency in modelling as I did miss out on a few parts when I was already texturing it.
