I thought we had to collect writing samples that the students did with their teacher. I can say that I was able to see some of the things that Mary did. The stories she would create during stations were really good. Some of her words were in her form of cursive. I asked her teacher if they have started talking about cursive and she said no but some of the students have been doing their own form of it. It is interesting to see her passion of wanting to learn a new form of writing. In this piece we are able to see how she still struggles to write the letters in the appropriate way.
