We were asked to perform a presentation about ourselves to a classroom full of people and tell them different facts about us and then the reason why we are doing this course. We did this in order to break the ice and to possibly help us to feel more comfortable talking in front of a group of people. I think I did well at speaking clearly in front of a group of people, I think I could have done better by looking around instead of just reading from the board.

Communicating with different people

Recently, I have communicated with new/different people when I took/coached a training session and explained different drills to them and helped them to understand and learn. I think one thing I could have done to improve this was speak a bit louder and and be more confident when speaking to them. I also feel I did well at explaining the different drills to them and helped them to understand what they had to do during the training session

I have also communicated with other people when I referee games, I do this by explaining all the different rules to the players and supporting them in playing their game. I do this well by speaking clearly to the players and by being educated well on the different rules of the game and being able to explain these rules correctly to the players. However, I also think I could improve at this by speaking a bit louder and projecting my voice a lot more during games.

Football Match

I use teamwork during my football matches by communicating with my team throughout the game and giving them support on different situations in the game. I do this by helping them with finding a pass or making a decision within the game. I do this well by speaking loudly and clearly in order to reassure them that they have support in the game and help them to not panic and stay calm within the game.

School Project

I have also used teamwork at school when we had to design something for on the playground. Here we all worked together as a team and designed the project by using different skills such as keeping in the budget and making sure it would be something that children would enjoy and use. I used teamwork well here by staying involved and participated by listening to others ideas whilst also including my idea.

Badminton In PE

Here I used teamwork because I played doubles badminton in PE and we had to work together as a team to make sure we communicated and understood our role and where we needed to be positioned during the games in order to win.
