I really appreciated having the opportunity to listen to both speakers. And I found it very heartbreaking listening to the patients experiences and how there experience was vastly different to their family member who had recently had a stroke. Taking forward its extremely important to listen to both patient and their families as they know their loved ones. Its also important to not only support the patient but always their families to ensure they can support their family member during there health journey. Thank you kate for all the hard work you went into making the lesson very helpful and educational

The service user’s (Steve) story helped improve my knowledge and understanding about strokes and how I can best support patients taking a holistic approach!


The afternoon session was also very good and i enjoyed creating those posters!
