So? Why is this so important? EXPLAIN ENGLISH TO ME!!!

Okay, So this means that water molecules are able to attract sodium (Na) atoms away from the chloride (CI) atoms so they breakup, and dissolve the table salt.

Ahh i get it now, so why do we need water in our bodies?

The water in our bodies is mostly contained in our cells, where it gives them a clear shape as well as having billions of useful molecules dissolved in it, including nutrients. Some of the important chemicals (enzymes) inside our cells only function when dissolved in water.
