I am pursuing a single subject teaching credential in social studies and a master's degree in education, and I expect to graduate in June 2019. I currently student teach 11th grade U.S. History at Arroyo Valley High School in San Bernardino, California. 
I was born and raised in Riverside, California, and attended UCSD for my undergraduate education, where I earned Bachelor's degrees in History and Political Science. I am an avid supporter of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoy having my heart broke by them every year. I love to stay active, and have been playing tennis for 9 years. History allows people to gain a better understanding of the diverse peoples and cultures that exist in our society and build empathy.
