2. get someone down: làm ai đó buồn, thất vọng
ex: don't let it get you down

3. get over = recover from : Bình phục, vượt qua
ex: i've got over the flu after 3 months

4. get to: tới
Ex: I got to the post office yesterday 

5. get on  with = get along with : có quan hệ tốt
Ex: I'm really happy because i get on with/get along with my friends

6. Get on well with s.o : hoà thuận, ăn ý
Ex:  i get on well with other people at work

7. get sth over with : hoàn thành hay kết thúc một việc gì đó
Ex: I will be glad to get these exams over with
Lưu ý cách dùng get on with: Continue doing something, especially work.

8. get round to -ing : thực hiện một việc gì đó đã dự định làm từ lâu
Ex: i get round to doing the shopping

9. get away (with/from) : Bỏ trốn, bỏ chạy với cái gì đó, trốn thoát 
Ex: She needs to get away from him, he isn't good for her.

10. get rid of: Từ bỏ, vứt bỏ 
Ex: If you get rid of playing game, you will focus on studying a lot. 

Notes:
-Get down : Bắt tay vào làm cái gì 
Ex: I can't get down to work because I'm so tired.

      7. set out: trưng bày, trình bày
     Eg. the picture is set out in a museum
     
    8. set up for: làm ra vẻ như
    ex: He tries to set up for a gentleman

    9.set up: đặt bẫy, lừa dối
    ex. The police set them up

    10.set in: ngấm vào, thấm vào. 
    Eg: this rain looks as if it has set in for the rest of the day
