When the men came to arrest him, Isabel wanted to tell the men where the money was. Another big thing that happened was when Lockton and his wife were upstairs fighting and she was screaming in pain. Another thing that happened was that Isabel saw Curzon again at the water pump. Also, when Isabel was listening to the mayor and Lockton she was thinking about how she would share the information with Curzon. This was important because it could lead to saving Washington's life, the rebels winning the war and Isabel getting to be free. Freedom is the biggest motivation for Isabel.
