Until Tuesday, a story written by Luis Carlos Montalván, is about how a service dog named Tuesday helped Luis in his darkest time. Luis is a 17-year veteran and retired US Army captain. After suffering multiple casualties such as stab wounds, a traumatic brain injury, and three broken vertebrae, Captain Luis choose to stay at his post on the Iraq-Syria border. When he returned home, his physical disabilities, PTSD, and agoraphobia were too much to handle and put him on the edge of suicide. That's when he met Tuesday, who would help him put all the broken pieces of his life back together.

"So I close down the document and give Tuesday what he really loves: Youtube. He loves dog videos: dogs popping balloons, dogs riding skateboards, and best of all dogs running around with each other having a good time. He follows the action with his head, twitching in crazy patterns and letting out a soft bark for the good stuff. He's not as crazy about cats or hamsters, but frenetic squirrels make him lurch to attention and horses put him in an excited mood. He likes to put his head down, a boozy smile on his face, and watch them run."

"The first thing everyone notices is the dog. Whenever I walk through my neighborhood in upper Manhattan, every eye is drawn to Tuesday. A few people hesitate, unsure of such a large dog---Tuesday is eighty pounds, huge by New York Standards--- but soon even the cautious ones smile. There is something about the way Tuesday carries himself that puts everyone at ease. Before they know it, construction workers on thier coffee break are yelling to him and cute young women are asking if they can pet him. Even the little kids are astonished. "Look at that dog, Mommy," I hear the say as we pass. "What a cool dog."'
