I wanted to serve in the Vietnam War to fight for my independence and my Country. After serving in the Vietnam War, however, my view has changed entirely. The point is, the results of serving in the Vietnam was not worth the sacrifices people had to make in order to be willing to survive it. 

Exposure to Napalm and Agent Orange caused many injuries to my friends I was fighting alongside with. One of my best friends even died of cancer as a result of exposure to the Agent Orange Chemical. Napalm explosions not only took many lives but left many people with severe bodily injuries that they would have to live with for the rest of their lives. 

As a Vietnam War Veteran, I have expressed my feelings of opposition to the war through nonviolent protest and marches.
