Public Audience

Students have an authentic purpose for

their final project when they understand that it

is intended for a real audience and not just for the sake

of a classroom assignment. Public presentations build important

communication skills.

21st Century Skills

Students must use critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills. These are very important because they are typical skills found in the workplace today and skills that employers look for.

Revision and Reflection

Revision and reflection allows students
to change and improve their product/design
once they have received feedback or once
they have been through several trial and error phases. They
can analyze the data to see where the revisions need to be
made.It allows the students to give/receive criticism on their project.

In-Depth Inquiry –

Students use higher order thinking skills in creating a new idea, interpretation or a product while developing 21st Century Skills.

Public Audience
