From the recovery aspect, jurisdictions did their own things related to economic recovery and there was a lot of overlap and redundancy and it let to a lot of confusion.

The fluid nature and how long this has been going on. It has caused them to consistently pivot.

There was some conversation regarding communicating to the community. It was problematic to get the information to the community because the did not have a way to get information on every single business in the community.

One of the struggles they had was trying to figure out what their lane was. There were different regional bodies that took a role. There was a proposal from somewhere to create their own entity and it got in the way of what the RSF was supposed to do.

Their business license database held them back from their ability to access businesses. The lack of better technology and data hindered their ability to respond. 
Vince Queano: 
Their system was not built for that and they had to refer to external systems. 
Anthony Molloy:
They would get calls from people and they would spend a lot of time looking only to realize they did not apply with them, and then when that happened they did not know who to refer them to. 
Shani Coleman:
Being more collaborative in how they put out grant programs. 
Lori Kraft:

Collaboration between the different jurisdictions. They met on a weekly basis since the start of the pandemic. There could have been earlier release of information in order to give everyone a chance to respond.

They reacted quickly, when they were needed people made themselves available. She needs more communication from the policy group. Sometimes it was difficult to know what they were expecting. RSF2 was not a part of the initial response.

The diversity in the group was an asset. From govt to education to tourism, there was a good variety of backgrounds. 
Justin Jones:
A lot of the groups were trying to deal with it, particularly small businesses, and having a group that was on the same page was an asset. 
Anthony Molloy:
There was a genuine concern to have a positive impact on the community. They wanted to help the businesses to keep their businesses opens.
