Since then, they have been dedicated to helping dogs find homes. They are a no-kill shelter, and make sure all of their dogs find homes. They give options to adopt, or just foster a dog, either one helps. When I was 10 months old, I got my dog Quinn. He was a great family dog and my family greatly appreciated him. He passed away back in August, but a year and a half before that, we got Nacho from a family who fostered him from Furry Kids' Refuge. It was a good time to get him, as my mental health was rather poor at the time. After Quinn passed away, Nacho was an only dog for a few months. Then the day after Christmas, we got Eddy. Eddy is a border collie/ wired-hair terrier mix. He is about 6 months old currently, and is a great addition to our family. They have been doing this for over a decade, and have rescued over 4,000 animals from these conditions.
