Characters of the Show
The cast of Boy Meets World consists of Cory Matthews, Topanga Lawrence, Shawn Hunter, and their mentor, Mr .George Feeny. There are several other characters as well, but the main piece of the story centers around these characters. Each character was very popular during the peak of the show, as you had Topanga Lawrence, portayed by Danielle Fishel as one of those 90's girls that everyone seemed to love. along with Shawn Hunter who was sort of the 90's dude that every girl had a crush on.

3. Context of the episodes: part 1:Enigmas

In the Hermeneutic Codes, we have the codes broken down listed to the left of this column, and in these three episodes, you see what each code begins to reference to. In first episode, In the first episode, you see two enigmas rise, Topanga's interview with a prestigious law firm in New York as she seeks an internship, while Angela, who is Shawn's girlfriend at the time, her father returns from overseas from a military tour, and he offers her a trip to Europe for one year. The offer leaves Angela and her friends stunned as she tells Shawn about her offer, leaving him shocked as well.

4. Part 2:Delays

In what follows, from the first to the second episode there is a moments of delays that are broken down. These moments consist of in which Shawn, who spends his time with Angela before she decides to leave with her father, is convinced by Cory that there is no way that he can convince her to stay. Cory tells him that it is you (Shawn) vs her father, and that he is fighting for the women he loves. For Shawn, having to deal with losing everyone he had loved in his past, goes for his chance to get Angela to stay. Despite his respect for Angela's father, he confronts her father about her decision.

5. Part 3:Resolution

In the last code of Barthes, which is resolution, this is when the enigma is complete, and the story is solved. By the time in the second and third episode, the characters would have to say goodbye to everything they have ever known. However, they do not forget about the one person that they wanted to say goodbye to, and that would be Mr.Feeny. In what follows, the characters would meet up in Mr. Feeny's old classroom, where they would ask for his one last piece of advice. In what follows, is a tearful goodbye for the characters. 7.Myth, and The audiences perspective

In this last scene, you see how transition of these characters, who from when the show had started Cory Topanga and Shawn were young without a clue of what it is like having to be outside of your comfort zone, that in order to grow and be successful, you must be able to branch out into society, and uses the mythical standpoint of how people are plants, and that when plants grow to big for there own good, they must be moved out from the original root, to see if they can persevere outside of the root.
From an audience standpoint, listening to Mr.Feeny's speech about his gardens and his plants, you can perceive why Mr.Feeny compares the two. Watching Cory, Topanga, and Shawn grow up to be the people they are at that point in the show.

The show's age group centers around a well rounded group from the ages of<18, 18-29, 30-44 and 45+ the show averaged about a 8.1 rating due to the way the show was formatted by having the characters grow up from being young teenagers, to being adults on the cusp of being in the real world.
