         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) 3 key messages; there are parts of history that we are not aware of that may affect our learners, we need to be mindful of how we deliver our instructions and information as not everyone has the same understanding (coming from different backgrounds, countries, languages etc),  we can mix subject areas ex) Art and Social Sciences for high engagement in learning experiences.<br><br><br>2) We want to listen to the stories, opinions, ideas of others in our meetings and PLD, we also want to listen to the stories, feelings, histories of others on the world stage and bring them into our every day language and learning experiences. <br><br>3) We should have diversity in our classrooms. We need to cater and share the histories of all of our students. Ex) we can go further than just language and culture weeks, we can teach these histories through our reading, literacy, social sciences, arts classes. <br><br></div>]]></description>
