Especially, when we get to learn from others and how their experiences can make an impact on ourselves and connect with them. I'm glad that I got to know Jill and have fun spending time with her. One of my memories was either going with her to mcdonalds, which  we would laugh, talk, and eat ice cream. Also, taking her to the library and we would read books or I would read to her. I ended up having a great and new experience for myself as I was spending my time assisting an autistic person named Jill in my neighborhood. Mostly every weekend,  I would take her to her swimming lessons at Shabbona Park, go on walks with her at Portage Park, accompany her to the library when she wanted to go read books, and go along with her to mall. At first, we got to know each other bit by bit and we would have a small conversation, but she didn't seem to fully get comfortable yet she was still getting used to me assisting her alot. After a few weeks, we started interacting more and we would talk about our goals and dreams.
