This is often taken in the context of defending computer systems or data, yet can incorporate programs designed specifically for subverting computer systems due to their significant overlap, and the adage that the best defense is a good offense.

These are some of the examples of computer security software:

1) Firewall - Windows Firewall.
Windows Firewall is a firewall component of Microsoft Windows. Windows Firewall reduces the attack surface of a device and provides an additional layer to the defense in depth model. Windows Firewall also reduces the attack surface of a device increases manageability and decreases the likelihood of a successful attack. With its integration with IPsec, Windows Firewall provides a simple way to enforce authenticated, end-to-end network communications. It provides scalable, tiered access to trusted network resources, helping to enforce the integrity of the data, and optionally helping to protect the confidentiality of the data.

2) Antivirus - Antivirus Software.
Antivirus software is a computer program used to prevent, detect, and remove malware. Antivirus software was originally developed to detect and remove computer viruses, hence the name. But now with the proliferation of other malware, antivirus software started to protect from other computer threats. It can protect users from malicious browser helper objects (BHOs), ransomware, keyloggers, backdoors, rootkits, trojan horses, worms, malicious LSPs, dialers, fraud tools, adware, and spyware.

3) Spyware & Adware Removers - Malwarebytes AdwCleaner.
Malwarebytes AdwCleaner is a free tool that use to scan and remove adware and spyware, also any other hard such as PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs), browser hijackers and unwanted browser toolbars to remove software that came preinstalled on your PC. Currently, Malwarebytes is available on Windows, Mac, iOS (only for Premium users), Android and Chromebook.

There are many problems that caused computer malfunction. 

These are some examples of common computer malfunction:

  • Problem: Operating system slowdown.
The operating system has to manage the resources of the computer such as memory, drive space and processing power between all the programs that are running on it. There is a huge number of things that may be reducing the computer’s performance, but they usually boil down to the  PC’s resources being used inefficiently.

Solution: 
  1. Check on the central processing unit (CPU) and the motherboard.
  2. Add the capacity of RAM.
  3. Check if there is a virus on your computer.
  4. Remove a program that you no longer need on your computer.
  5. Check on a hard disk drive (HDD).
  6. Format your computer system.

  • Problem: Overheating.
The computer is overheating caused by too many processes and applications running simultaneously, unresponsive applications, too many browser tabs open, defective fans, blocked air vents, outdated software, viruses or other malware, overheated CPU or GPU and dust buildup on your PC’s fans and vents.

Solution:
  1. Turn off your laptop, unplug the cords, and remove the battery. You should take a break from using it until it has completely cooled down.
  2. Inspect the vents and fan for dirt or other signs of blockage. 
  3. Use compressed air to clean your laptop's vents. If your fan continues to struggle, make noises, or run at maximum speed, it may need to be checked for other issues.
  4. Change your system's fan control settings. 

  • Problem: Computer freeze.
There are many reasons why a computer may freeze or start to perform poorly. Typically, it will be a software-related issue or the computer has too many programs operating at any once causing it to freeze. Additional issues such as insufficient hard-disk space or ‘driver’ related issues also can cause a computer to freeze.

Solution:
  1. Restart your computer.
  2. Quit programs that might be causing your computer to freeze.
  3. Start your computer in safe mode.
  4. Update your device drivers.
  5. Update your operating system.
  6. Restore your system to a previous state.
  7. Scan your computer for viruses and other forms of malicious software.
  8. Make sure your computer has recovered.

Dropbox is a file hosting service that offers cloud storage, file synchronization, personal cloud and client software. Dropbox also is a place where all team's content comes together, where the user can use the tools that they love and where it can help the user to cut through the clutter and surface what matters most.
Advantages: 
  • Store and access files from anywhere. Users can save all files that they have in one safe place, accessible from the computer, phone, or tablet. Back up important folders like a desktop or any changes will sync across to the user account.
  • Disaster-proof for files. Protect files from unwanted edits, deletions, hackers, and viruses by restoring or recovering anything in Dropbox account for up to 30 days.
  • More features in Dropbox. Other than that, there are more other features in Dropbox such as cloud storage, file sharing, productivity tools and content collaboration.

2. Swift Backup
Swift Backup is a one-stop destination to backup apps, messages, call logs and applied wallpapers.
Advantages:
  • Backup & restore. Restore most apps in the same condition as when they were backed up. Special app data like granted permissions, battery optimization setting, Magisk Hide state of the app, app Supporting Services Aids (SSAIDs) and others else. WiFi network configurations.
  • Cloud services supported. Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, Mega.nz, pCloud, CloudMail.Ru (only available for premium plan), Yandex, WebDAV servers, SMB (Samba), SFTP and FTP/S/ES.
  • Premium options (Unlocked via in-app purchase plan)Cloud backups for apps, app labels, custom backup/restore configuration for apps and scheduled backup.

3. Google One
Google One is a subscription service that offers to users through Google Drive and it is intended for the consumer market.
Advantages:
  • Users can access "Google Experts".  Google Experts are people trained by Google to help answer customers’ questions about Google products and services. Google One users can get instant access to Google experts at any time if they experience any challenge while using the app or any Google-owned service.
  • Family Storage. Google One users can share their storage plan with up to five additional family members for six in total including the sharer by creating a family group or by sharing a plan with an existing group. With family storage, other users can't gain access to the storage space that was shared by your family.
  • Backup Drive for Android. Android users can backup their entire phone data to the devices that include multimedia messages, photos, videos, and device data to the cloud through the Google One app.
