We presented the final products from first term

WEEK 2:

april 15th- april 19th

• We socialized the project we are going to do this term, we draw the cover page on the notebook and wrote what topics we are learning this term.

• We watched a video about the SDG 8 and discuss about it.

• We watched a video about an entrepeneur girl so the kids can get to know what is to be an entrepeneur.

• We worked on units of measurement, using tools like scale, ruler, metric tape and cups.

• We worked on the booklet pages 25,26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 during three classes.

WEEK 3:

april 22nd- april 26th

• april 22nd:

• april 23th:

  We worked units of measurement in matific

• april 25th:

  We started learning multiplication, the parts of it were wrtitten on the notebook, in teams we tried to solve problems, and worked with concrete material. We represented in concrete and iconic form.

• april 27th:

  We reviewed multiplication in the traditional way and area model, we modeled some examples and solved them in class, we took notes over the types of problems and worked on th booklet pages 19 and 20.

  
  

  WEEK 4:

  may 29th to may the 3rd

• may 1st: Holiday

• may 2nd :

  The kids took math verification test.

  We worked on pages 20 and 21 from the booklet.

  
  

WEEK 5:

from may 6th to may 10th

• may 6th:

  The kids worked on the booklet pages 22 and 23, they will continue tomorrow in class.

• may 7th:

  The kids continue working on the booklet and finished in class.

• may 9th:

  We learnt angles, we hunted angles around school by checking intersecting lines, the kids identified the angles in every drawing. (door, ceiling, board, etc.)

• may 10th:

  We took notes on the notebook about the types of angles, we started learning how to use the protractor.

WEEK 6:

from may 13th to may 17th

• may 14th:

  We started working on

  We continued working on the booklet page 45 and 46.

• may 15th:

  We made some exercises on the notebook to trace angles with the protractor.

• may 17th:

  We learnt how to use the compass to create angles, we construted some angles on the notebook.

WEEK 7

from may 20th to may 24th

• may 21st:

  We made a free drawing on the notebook, the kids measured and classified angles.

• may 23rd:

  We continue working on the final product, answering questions about what do we want to do, why and how are we going to do the product we create to impact the different communities we have researched.

• may 24th:

  We started learning area by drawings on the notebook with squared tiles.

WEEK 8

from may 27th to may 31st

• may 27th:

  We went around school to catch some word problems about area and the kids solved them in teams.

• may 30th:

  We took notes on the notebook about area.

  We took Milton Ochoa test.

• may 31st:

  In the first moment of the class, the kids worked on a worksheet to find out the area by counting squares.

  In the second moment of the class, the kids went outside the classroom and look for word problems related to area, they solved them in teams.

WEEK 9

From june 4th to june 7th

• June 4th:

  We worked on matific, school work to practice area

  In the second moment of the day we learnt about perimeter by measuring with wool.
