Debate-  Legislators debate the bill. Legislators vote an a  if a majority vote for the bill, the bill has passed its second reading.
Approved bill goes to the Other House- If a bill is passed by one legislative body, it is introduced into the other house where the same process is repeated.
Conference Committee- If the second house amends the bill, then the difference between the two versions must be reconciled in a conference committee. 
Oversight committee- Allow legislators to learn how well current laws are working and whether the laws need to be changed.
