My claim is that the Nile River was a good thing to the Egyptians. The Nile River was a river so that means that they can use the Nile River to go places. For instances, in the text it says, "For the early Egyptians the Nile served as river highway. To use the highway, the Egyptians became expert shipbuilders. By the time Egypt was united, some Egyptians boats were made of wooden planks and were as long as 60 feet (18m). So that means that the Nile River helps them go places where they want to go.

The Nile river was important. It was important beacause in the text it said the Nile river was "Giver of life". My reason why I think it is important is because if they didn't have it there crops would dry up. Another reason why is because they needed the inundation by flooding so they could plant there crops then they could harvest then they repeat the process to survive. If the Nile didn't flood they wouldn't have good harvest. That's why I think the Nile river is important.

They used the indunation season to get the water for there crops. The ancient Egyptians called the Nile River the, " giver and taker of life."

The Nile river brought "life to Egypt." There is not alot
of rain in Egypt so they needed the river to plant crops. The Egyptians only had 3 seasons. The first one is indundation, which is when the Nile river floods. The second one emergance which is when the Egyptians planted their crops. The third one is harvest, when they harvested their crops. The Nile river is so important because without it the Egyptians will not be able to plant crops and then starve to death

The Nile River is a very important to the Egyptians. Because it brought life to them and there crops. The Nile was so close it had advantages and disadvantages and the reason for that is because it could bring growth to food and water was needed to drink, the Eygatians could make boats and sail across the sea. Every year they is a flood and since they are right next door to the Nile they would suffer crop loss. But scines the Egyptians are very smart they have made a calendar to predict a flood. There is 3 seasons Inundation, Emergence, and Havest. And that is why the Nile is important.

The ancient Egyptians called the Nile river," The giver and taker of life." The farmers used the Nile river to create inventions like," The Egyptians developed innovations both to bring water to there fields and take it away." Since the farmers used the Nile river to farm and others used it in religion this helped it become more important.

I believe the Nile river was so important to the Egyptians because it helped bring the people who lived on its banks together. For instance the book on page 135 it states, " The Nile River was thought to be the "giver of life" for the ancient Egyptians." So when the Nile would flood it would make the soil fertile for them to plant crops. Therefore they would have a great harvest thanks to The Nile River.
