^{i think they should because if they don't get to vote they might think it is to much that they are taking away from them and if they don't vote on something maybe your family is in a crisis.and if they dont feel included to be in the debate they will become criminals again but if they get to vote they will become better citizen.}

I think prisoners should be able to vote because the issue they are voting on could affect them or their families. I also think being in prison, away from your family is punishment enough, no matter what the crime was. Voting is a right, not a privilege.

I think that prisoners should be allowed to vote. The right to vote is a basic human right and should not be taken away from anyone, even prisoners. Some decisions made by the government decided by vote, have some effect on the prisoners and they should have a say in that. Even if prisoners have done something bad, it shouldn’t change the fact they still have there human right. Prisoners already have enough punishment. No freedom. No say in the world. The world is trying to fix this problem about equality when prisoners don’t even have a right to vote! Furthermore, they might even become better citizens after having voted.

In my opinion prisoners should not be allowed to vote. Prisoners are too disconnected from the outside world which means they might not know what's going on. Prisoners have been sentenced a certain time in prison. They have gotten a punishment which is losing their freedom. Why should they get rewarded for doing something bad? Their are any prisoners, but I can’t see many prisoners voting, so they wouldn’t have much effect on what will be elected. Therefore, why bother giving them the right to vote, if their not going to vote and if it won’t make a change?

I think that prisoners should be able to vote because being in prison/jail is already a big punishment, also when they get out of prison/jail if they do they might be confused about the law change and lastly the thing you are voting on might affect their family and friends and the prisoner could be really hurt emotionally.

I think no because they chose to commit a crime and they need to be punished. Their votes can affect themselves and their families. Also the prisoners can form an alliance and vote for bad things like more plastic or this person as our prime minester.

I think that prisoners should vote because they are already being punished and most of the time the votes affect their future or people close to them. Also, when they get out of prison they might not understand what is going on in the "outside world" so they won't know or understand what is going on. They are already being punished enough and maybe they will understand their mistake and will make up from that and do the right thing.

I also think that they should not be allowed because they are being punished and during their punishment they should not be rewarded. It is like being grounded but allowed to eat ice cream all the time, completely crazy. They also might not have learned from their mistake and will chose the wrong thing and it could be very consiquential in the world and make people angry or if they do vote and they don't have it their way they might get extremely angry and then when they get out of prison they might just be more aggrevated instead of learning from their mistakes.

I think prisoners should be allowed to vote because voting is one of the human rights and even though you did something bad enough to got to jail you should still have the right to vote.
