Brazil gained there independence on September 7th 1822. They demanded king john to go back to Portugal, so he made his son, Pedro king. But Pedro wanted John to stay so he made John prince of Brazil. All the Brazilian states were ruled by Portugal and could only trade with Portugal. John made Pedro travel around to start gaining independence by all of the states. Pedro traveled to Rio to get the title Emperor. Brazil lost there first battle of an Independent country to Portugal in 1823.

Before Brazil gained there independence, Portugal banned them from printing so they didn't have much knowledge of what's happening with there country. Today there is only 7 copies of papers from Brazil back before there independence. Once Brazil gained their independence they started to increase and normalize public speaking. Once before it was risking there life to stand up and speak for what's right.

Republic of Columbia was a state that encompassed much of northern south America region from 1819-1831. Austria, France, and Russia only recognized independence in the Americas if the new states accepted monarchies from European dynasties. However Columbia and the international powers had a disagreement over the extension of the boundaries and territories. During the Congress of Angostura, Columbia was proclaimed through the Fundamental law of Republic of Columbia.

When Napoleon invaded Italy he made it Kingdom of Italy in the north. When they got defeated Italy reverted back into becoming independent states. France in exchange for there support they attacked Austria in April 1858 starting the second war of Italian Independence. However Victory Emanuel and caval were angered with the French for making peace with the Austrians before they got all they wanted. They went to Sicily in mid 1680 and once he landed he got locals recruits fought his way North. Garabaldi handed over his Southern Conquests to Victor Emanuel and the Kingdom of Italy then was proclaimed in 1861.

The Kingdom of Italy was a state that existed from 17 March 1861, when Victor Emmanuel was proclaimed King of Italy. The state resulted from decades long process the Risorgimento, of consolidating the different sates of the Italian Peninsula into a single state. That process was heavy lead by Savoy- led Kingdom of Sardinia, which can be put into Italy's legal predecessor state. Then from there Italy was getting into wars left and right and was making alliances as well.
