But then he discriminates Muslims by saying they can't come into America because their religion.

This shows hypocrisy because when he says that people can be part of different religions. Then he then goes around saying we shouldn't let Muslims into our country because of their religion. To try to convince people that we should do this he says, "Donald Trump said that if he were president he would move to bar all Muslims from entering the country until we "can figure out what the **** is going on." No more Muslim immigrants. No more Muslim visitors." but what he really mean't by this was that there would never be more Muslim people in this country after he became president.

This is shown in the book when, "Madam brought the broom down on the small, twisted body." She did this when nothing was really wrong with Ruth. But whenever Elihu hits her it's always a big deal.
