I enjoy topics where you get to research prior to completing the assignment rather than having the teacher give you an article and you using it to complete a worksheet. I would also enjoy it to be assignments where the teacher would not have to constantly tell you how to do the assignment, rather they tell you what you need to do and then let you work. I would enjoy smaller assignments on topics to help us learn and then a final big project such as a research paper as I did in English. Such as not desks but tables and not cairs but stools. The seats would be assigned but you get to choose them. The classroom itself would be busy and fun. Less one poster on a brick wall and instead maybe a photo wall of areas where kids have put there work on the walls. The teacher would be understanding but still teach in an interactive way. Allowing for kids to have discussion while still leading them and learning about new topics. The lectures would be about interesting things and there would never be a forced conversation among the kids. Free will being the main idea. Participation is good, though sometimes it's a little difficult to feel open to participate if someone's put on the spot. School is nice when the topics are interesting and learnt in a fun and creative way. I like having a Tech. Break because it gives me a few minutes to breath and recuperate. Honestly, I think the way this classroom environment has been over the first semester has been really great!
